Deep Relaxation Sessions
I run 60 minute guided relaxation sessions for those who simply wish to de-stress & unwind in a safe, supportive & gentle environment. Stress-management & emotional balance are particular interests of mine & I can incorporate guided mindfulness meditations or yoga visualisations according to your needs. Relaxation sessions usually take place at my home in Guildford, where I teach from a sunny room overlooking the garden. (I can also come to your home if you are within 15 minutes of Guildford.)
Individual Mindfulness Guidance
Learning mindfulness on an individual basis means that the sessions can be tailored to suit your personal needs. This means that you will be able to learn the most valuable skills to help you to cope with your particular life situation. I have a special interest in stress-reduction & building emotional resilience. The one-to-one environment enables ample time to get to know your needs & for reflection on the effect of each practice - an integral part of mindfulness. I suggest around 4 - 6 sessions (with daily home practice) to enable to you feel the full benefits of mindfulness, although I can adapt your programme to suit your needs. These sessions usually take place at my home in Guildford, where I teach from a sunny room overlooking the garden, or over Skype.
I also offer a 6 week Mindfulness for Wellbeing course on an individual basis.
Individual Yoga Guidance
Find balance with a daily practice to designed just for you. Traditionally, yoga is taught in a one-to-one setting so that the practice can be adapted to suit the individual needs of the student. I can work with you to design a daily practice that will deepen your yoga experience; whether you would like to work on a specific area or explore something you find challenging in class. I have a particular interest in stress-reduction & calming the nervous system so that we can return to our natural state of balance. Beginners are welcome. I use a wide range of yoga & mindfulness techniques that can be adapted to help you improve your wellbeing.
Small Group Yoga or Mindfulness Guidance
If you have a small group of friends who would like to learn yoga or mindfulness, I offer small group classes. (For yoga, you would need to have a suitable space). As mentioned above, stress-management & emotional balance are particular interests of mine.
