MINDFULNESS CLASSES

Solar Sisters photo 3_edited.jpg

Mindfulness practice helps us reduce stress & deepen our connection to ourselves & beyond so we can thrive even in these uncertain times. I create compassionate spaces to experience the benefits of mindfulness meditation within a supportive community. We also explore embodied resilience practices which support the nervous system & enable us to return to our natural sense of safety, balance & ease. You will take away tools for deepening your own mindfulness practice in daily life.

Sessions include guided meditation & other mindfulness practices. There is the opportunity for group reflection as this is an excellent way to explore our practice in a supportive group (no need to speak – your presence is enough.)

Suitable for those new to mindfulness who wish to develop a regular practice as well as experienced practitioners who wish to go deeper.

Booking is essential - book drop in classes below or email me for Class Passes.

Concessions available for those experiencing financial hardship - please email me for details.

What to expect at Yoga

We combine simple flowing sequences & exploring postures more deeply. There is an emphasis on mindful awareness of breath & body. We finish with a calming guided relaxation. Classes are kept fairly small to ensure that care can be given to the individual student.

My years of experience as a mindfulness teacher enable me to bring a deeply mindful & embodied approach to my classes. Mindfulness encourages us to be open to all aspects of life with kindness & curiosity, rather than searching to fix or distract ourselves.

You do not have to be slim, fit, flexible or strong to join a class. All body types, ethnicities, religions & genders are welcome. (People with pre-existing health conditions that limit movement should contact their doctor prior to joining a class).

What to expect at Mindfulness

My mindfulness groups are supportive spaces to explore the benefits of mindfulness meditation. We also explore resilience practices which support our bodies & enable us to return to our natural sense of safety, balance & ease. There are opportunities for reflection within the group as this is a good way to deepen your practice & to share our experience.  This is optional though - there is no pressure to contribute, you can just sit back & listen.

Online Classes

Online classes may be more convenient for you as they save travel time. They enable you to practice in the comfort of your own home, while still ensuring that you receive individual support & guidance & maintaining a community feel. All you need is a good internet connection & a quiet space to practice. You will be sent Zoom instructions when you register - it's very easy to use.

"I have really enjoyed your lessons and I think that you have such a wonderful approach to nurturing, restorative yoga.  I think your lessons and approach are quite unique and special."
